my dad yelling for
a sandwich

a haiku poem inspired by this post on Caring for Aging Parents at telling it like it is.

a tricky and sometimes difficult situation. quite common enough over here since, in the philippines, the idea of assisted care homes for the elderly hasn't yet taken root much.
